This thread is more of a workshop. I am trying to turn Floralei into a DoT killer. I have been using Floralei against the PVP: Fire event with some pretty good results and am hoping others might have some insight into making it even better.
The set-up
Skills: Lock-On | Petal Rush | Overgrowth | Synthesis
Boosts: Greater Fury Boost | Enervate Boost | Briar Boost
The idea is to keep hitting them with Lock-On and Petal Rush until I get a few DoT against me(which doesn't take very long). Then hit them with Synthesis and use Overgrowth when I need that extra healing. My bonus healing enhancements are only 140/350 (541 healed per hit) but at this point I can take two turns (the length of the Synthesis effect) without loss of health all while having debuffs against me filling the screen. With Briar attached, those debuffs can really do some damage to the opposition while I stay at close to full health.
This set up works wonders against Tarandus, especially with Overgrowth active and can hold its own against Ignitar in this PvP. So how can I maximize this build? I do not have any other 4th gen curios that Floralei synergizes with, so most of its other skills are diminished. The Enervate Boost is mostly a place holder for some other boost TBD. I was thinking about using a Terraform Boost (I don't have the greater version) because every DoT build seems to have Venom/Enervate attached to them. Better resistance means more healing right?
Finally, I'm playing with the idea of swapping in Phantasma at the last second and wiping the DoT debuffs out with Cosmos, then starting all over again.
I've never used a curio that heals when hit like Drakkiton, Amp and others. So I look to you all for advice. Am I trying too hard to make this work? What is your experience with heal on hit effects? Are they sustainable?
