Aureus is a top tier Air type curio possibly rank 1 along with Grotesk, Unlike Aesalon which i personally think isn't that good without his twin. Aureus on the other hand is still 100% effective minus the heal. Why so? He has good spells that make up despite having his twin by his side.
Solo Type
Skill: Pierce | Wind Pillar | Dust Storm | Blustery Day
Note: It's always a good idea to have at least 1 different element of attack for every curio but it doesn't apply to all just mostly, Which is why Pierce is good and doesn't cost any mana. Wind Pillar is a good spell that deals good damage along with healing decrease 33% and if dispelled you get 50% more Air Damage! Dust Storm is his bread and butter spell cause it simply deals alot of damage nothing more than that. However it's probably bugged because whenever i try to use Dust Storm on a curio that has Refresh Boost it tends to not hit someones and they already removed accuracy so i'm confused. Blustery Day on the other hand is a decent spell that deals additional damage 668 damage to dark and 1560 to earth base curios.
Boosts: Ultimate Fury Boost/Greater Fury Boost | Breather Boost/Breeze Boost | Briar/HP
Note: Since Ultimate Fury is hard to obtain most likely just go for Greater Fury as a substitute until you get one. Breather is the best yellow boost for him as he has a decent healing stat. Your bench curios will definitely benefit alot to his healing. Breather on the other hand is a sub boost until you can get yourself a Breather plus its easy to get one so why not? Briar you need this badly as he doesn't have any disables you will mostly be taking damage anyway. Hp is a sub boost until you can get a briar.
Battle: Start off with Dust Storm but beware if the enemy curio has refresh it will tend to miss sometimes! Blustery Day if its Earth or Dark. You may use Wind Pillar if you think the enemy curio is going to heal or is a heal base curio.
Team Base (Only if you have Aesalon)
Skill: Pierce | Wind Pillar | Dust Storm | Grapple
Note: Never go for this build unless you have both Aesalon and Aureus maxed out in HP/Healing/Damage stats through enhancements and have the proper Boosts. Why is that? They we're nerfed and is quite underwhelming if not properly built nowadays.

Note: Ultimate being the best ATK Boost and greater as a sub until you get an Ultimate Fury Boost! Breather and Briar is a must and a standard boost for Aureus if you really want to play him with his twin if you do not have any or lack at least 1 of those just do yourself a favor and do not use them is the same team because they can get very underwhelming. and just use a better curio for Aesalon's spot Ex. Ignitar/Tarandus.
Battle: It's pretty straight forward you may start with Dust Storm then Grapple or Wind if it's a healing base curio that you think you can burst down (AI tends to heal when low or sometimes go full retard and heal while HP is full)
Lastly We all know Earth's weakness is Air however with Aureus he takes it onto another level He can burst Earth curios very fast cause of Dust Storm and Blustery Day and has a good base attack stat. Last but not the least a good Au/Ae team would compose of 2 Aesalon 1 Aureus used to be 2 Au 1 Ae or take my advice i'm actually trying to go for Twitch | Aesalon | Aureus.

, and Swift Breeze vs. Wind Pillar. I feel that Swift Breeze is stronger especially when you have used the 3 to make the health of the opponent lesser than 40%. Swift Breeze does 80% extra damage on top of 1352-2905 when health of opponent is less than 40%. Thoughts?
